Linux, apps, and edge services

Dantro

A local-first operating platform for cameras, family media, business workflows, procurement, finance, hosting, office add-ins, and connected displays.

Platform

One Dantro layout from desktop to edge server

Dantro combines a branded desktop ISO, signed update metadata, App Center installs, local web services, and shared system controls. It is built to feel familiar on a home computer while still being useful for business and edge workloads.

Operating Model

Local apps with public publishing only where it helps

Keep recordings, files, and app data on the Dantro machine by default. Publish only selected release files, app bundles, website pages, or short CCTV motion clips when remote access is useful.

App Center

Apps and profiles

Available preview means a signed installable app bundle exists for App Center, but the app is still pre-production.

Architecture

Signed artifacts, guarded installs, recoverable systems

Release metadata, app bundles, services, data paths, and validation status are explicit. Signed app and security updates can install automatically, while major system changes remain administrator-approved until production rollback is available.
